Contemporary Art

”IF YOU COULD SAY IT IN WORDS THERE IS NO REASON TO PAINT”

Do you ever struggle with naming your paintings? Perhaps it comes easily to you; maybe they name themselves during or after their creation. Maybe you have some kind of system. Art express our thoughts and ideas and soul too, a certain melody expresses sadness, that there is a feeling of great calm expressed in a particular painting, or that tension is expressed in the thrusts of a tower or the development of the plot of a novel or drama.

For me, naming paintings has generally been a bit of a challenge. Sometimes they do seem to name themselves, but often I’ll find myself mulling over possibilities and not finding anything that feels right

Some of these lend themselves particularly well to series, and could even be a starting point for a collection rather than something that happens after the fact, thus encouraging consistency in the work.

Every one born creative. Every given a box of crayons. Then you hit puberty they take away the crayons and then replace them with dry, uninspiring algebra ,history ,etc..

So be creative.

Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.

Contemporary art captures the world of today and sets a lasting impression which influences years to come. The art is/was produced in the second half of the 20th century or the 21st century.

Contemporary painting draws inspiration from scenes of friends and family; however, his work often depicts social problems he highlights through his pieces in places such as Israel-Palestine, Tibet, and rural China. Pushing past the reviews, Takashi Murakami is becoming an iconic contributor to contemporary art with his coined style called “super flat” which is a theory based on the flat, 2-D imagery of Japanese style of manga and anime. In 2002, Takashi Murakami received an invitation from Marc Jacobs, designer of Louis Vuitton, to collaborate on a 13-year project of infusing Murakami’s style with the LV signature brand.

Takashi Murakami is a Japanese contemporary artist. He works in fine arts media (such as painting and sculpture) as well as commercials (such as fashion, merchandise, and animation) and is known for blurring the line between high and low arts. He coined the term "super flat," which describes both the aesthetic characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition and the nature of postwar Japanese culture and society, and is also used for Murakami's artistic style and other Japanese artists he has influenced.
